About us

Football that builds young people

Rangers Football Academy develops talented, disciplined and confident young footballers in Nairobi.

Our story

Why Rangers exists

Rangers Football Academy was established in 2023 to give young players in Nairobi a structured, professional and caring place to learn the game. Based at MoW Sports Club in South C, with branches in Runda and Parklands, we coach boys and girls from U5 to U17.

We believe football is one of the best classrooms a child can have. Alongside technical and tactical coaching, our sessions develop discipline, teamwork, resilience and confidence — qualities that help young people succeed on the pitch, in school and in life.

Football philosophy

Play with the ball, think with the game

Inspired by modern Spanish and possession-based methodologies, adapted to the age, ability and needs of each player.

Football philosophy

  1. Technical quality

Clean first touch, accurate passing and confident ball mastery as the base of everything.

  2. Tactical understanding

Players learn why, not only how — space, angles, support and positional roles.

  3. Intelligent decisions

Scanning and game-realistic practice train players to choose the right option under pressure.

  4. Creativity

We encourage players to express themselves, try things and solve problems on the ball.

  5. Physical literacy

Age-appropriate movement, coordination, balance and conditioning.

  6. Enjoyment

Players who love the game keep learning. Fun is part of the method, not a reward.

Safeguarding comes first

Every child deserves to feel safe, respected and valued. We are committed to player welfare, safe training environments, responsible supervision by coaches, appropriate parental involvement and respect for every child. Concerns are always taken seriously and handled confidentially.
